INDIVIDUAL THERAPY, ADULTS
In a supportive and accepting environment, we will address your needs and concerns and collaboratively explore your potential for growth and change. In a culturally sensitive approach, I specialize and work with multiple issues and needs. While my approach is influenced by psychodynamic and relational psychotherapy, I incorporate multiple therapeutic modalities to support your personal growth and healthy and adaptive relationships.
Typically, we will meet in person on a weekly basis.
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY, ADOLESCENTS
Many adolescents are affected by the challenges of the complex environment in which they are asked to navigate. In therapy, they will be supported around the exploration of their thoughts and feelings while identifying adaptive strategies and coping skills. Through collaborative work we will address diverse concerns such as depression, anxiety, relationships with peers and family, self-esteem and other developmental challenges. I use diverse therapeutic modalities as well as art therapy. I have found that art therapy is highly effective in promoting a safe space to explore and express complex thoughts and feelings.
ART THERAPY FOR ADOLESCENTS & ADULTS
I provide art therapy services for adolescents and adults. Art therapy can be highly effective in promoting insight, emotional growth and cognitive awareness when dealing with various issues. Through its use of tactile, sensory, symbolic and expressive communication, art therapy supports experiences that may not be easily expressed verbally. With my safe guidance and support, clients can experience a creative way to express and address complex issues relating to their personal and interpersonal lives.
With many years of experience in the field of art therapy and psychotherapy, I provide clinical consultation for clinical therapists and art therapists. I see affiliated professionals on specific cases, on an adhoc basis, and/or regularly.
I provide workshops for affiliated professionals who would like to gain an additional understanding of art therapy and potentially incorporate art into their clinical practices.
