ABOUT ME
MY PHILOSOPHY
My work consists of a collaborative exploration of your needs and hopes in a supportive and culturally sensitive environment. Past and present life adversaries often shape the way we feel and interact. Examining our unhealthy patterns and incorporating our strengths in a trusting therapeutic relationship, can elicit experiences of personal growth, living a richer life and increasing our propensity for healthy and adaptive relationships.

I work well with a range of psychological needs and concerns; anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, relationship issues, self - esteem, life changing events and trauma are some of the areas that I welcome in our exploration. For more than 20 years I have provided dynamically oriented psychotherapy with extensive training in relational, interpersonal, attachment- based and trauma- focused therapy.
In addition to my clinical counseling degree, I am an experienced and licensed art therapist and can provide and incorporate art therapy into the treatment.

My training in clinical counseling and art therapy allows me to address and effectively treat complex mental, behavioral, and emotional issues using multiple modalities. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults and parents. My practice centers around the attentive exploration and building of supportive and accepting relationship with each client.
